You misunderestimate the power of the drug side...

As a follow-up to my post yesterday, here are a couple of articles on the evil pharmaceutical empire.

I suspect the reason why doctors don't stand up to them is because they are the ones who supply us with our little magic bullets. They decide what medicines to make, which trials to sponsor, and because of 'evidence-based medicine' we end up prescribing the 'best' drugs.

Dance like puppets on strings...

  • *Exactly*? I must admit I don't know where to start.

Maybe put humanity before profits? Just a little?

  • Lou,

It's not rude lah, but legally I cannot give you any medical advice.

Also, angry doc is an online persona and I would like to keep my identity secret.

    Hope you understand.

    Thanks.

  • "Humanity before profits"? sounds like a recipe for inefficiency, no new drugs, and government regulation of big pharma.
